“The Engineering M.Div. in Education”

Ryan Tolan serves as a passionate educator and community servant-leader. A unique ability to problem solve lets him implement productive ideas to help people and organizations. Ryan’s diverse background gives him leverage when teaching coding, engineering CAD modeling, and college prep courses and when coaching K-12 teachers. His integrity, compassion, and diligence helps him build relationships and lead others toward collective and personal growth. His portfolio contains some projects he has developed.

Ryan currently serves as the Principal Educator of Glad Academics LLC, which develops academic advantages within K-12 education. Glad Academics LLC supports K-12 schools and districts with enrichment curriculum and courses and training for other educators. Ryan has also served on staff at his local church in various preaching, teaching, and board leadership roles. These include over a dozen years of experience leading youth ministry programs, such as Awana, decision making with the Missions Board, and leading church services.

He was a member of the winning team of South Central’s first startup weekend in 2019. That team resulted in a fast-growing clean tech startup.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Arts in Education. He and his family enjoy spending time together.
